Segafredo Zanetti® invites coffee lovers to savor the perfect blend of heritage, warmth, and complexity in every sip. We believe authentic Italian roasts and top quality beans create the most premium coffees, and our passion shines in an exceptional depth of flavor and smoothness— never over roasted. Founded in 1973, today Segafredo helps create the connections that make life rich on six continents, all the time maintaining the vision and standards we started with.
Roasted locally for the US market from our headquarters in Suffolk, Virginia we’ve made a home here since 2006 producing our authentic espresso for foodservice partners and eventually developed a new line of coffee blends unique to the US that captures what our local team and foodservice partners have been asking for over the years- a distinctly rich and bold coffee profile you can really taste.
These blends now make up our core coffee lineup helping partners serve the difference between a good day and a mediocre one in a cup.
Our Process

SOURCING
We source green from Central America, South America, & Asia with the goal of targeting different flavor profiles in your finished cup. To secure the qualities that we need, we procure the coffee months in advanced.

QUALITY TESTING
Once the green coffee arrives in the US, we cup every single lot to guarantee that it aligns with the target grade and quality.

BLENDING
Our espresso and coffees can have anywhere between 1 – 7 components per blend. We blend our beans and they go into a mixer to get a homogeneous blend before it goes into our roasters to ensure a consistent cup every time.
